If this is the kind of product Blizzard is going to put out in the future they are better off shuddering their offices now while they still have some dignity left, oh wait too late, that ship already sailed from California and then proceeded to crash and burn. Not to mention it’s already banned in at least half a dozen EU countries where they actually have advanced cyber laws. The game is beyond a joke and if they try to launch it in this sorry state on the Asian market they’re going to get law suits coming out of their ears. I was just now bothered to open the app for the first time since writing this and logged into the game just to see whether it was fixed and wouldn’t you know it literally every single one of the bugs is still very much present. But as it happens all the charges were refunded within 3 days and I even received a generic apology email from Blizzard.
The entire thing is nothing but a scam.īold of you to assume that I still play any Blizzard games and would care or even notice whether my account got locked or not. This is by far the worst gaming experience I have ever had not just with a Diablo or a Blizzard game but in general and I have been an avid gamer for more than 2 decades.
There is obviously nothing else I can do at this point, especially as there is virtually no customer service for the game but unless it gets fixed by next week I am just going to instruct my bank to dispute all the charges that I so foolishly authorized trying to support a franchise I have loved since I was a child only to get this steaming pile of manure which inexplicably took over a decade to produce. I have patiently waited for a hotfix after having reported the bug over 10 days ago and still nothing, not even an acknowledgement of the bug let alone a fix. Took any enjoyment I had in the game right out. It is an unstable, buggy mess, that crashes at the drop of a hat or bugs out completely mid combat.įor me the final straw was this little anecdote that I now will share: I was so excited to get the Arcane Intensifiers Wizard legendary shoulders for it’s amazing effect which turns Disintegrate into a proper kamehameha meme-beam/arcane laser only to find out that the game is so hopelessly screwed up on the back end that the visual for the modified spell fails to display more than 70% of the time leaving my character just flaying his hands around with numbers popping up and mobs getting mowed down seemingly for no reason.
It is absolutely ridiculous at this point that the game is still in this abysmal state.
